Busting with Berries...

Here's Squirt taking a rest from the sun under a bush right smack dab in the middle of a batch of his favorite black berries. What a life eh? Needless to say however he needed a bath when we got home.

I've never had a dog before that loved berries. Squirt is like a little vacuum cleaner when he gets his nose in a batch. He's a funny little fart to say the least...

Eating moose in the Bumble Bee Bight...

Every now and again someone takes pity on me and gives me a meal of moose and a few fish. The other night I cooked my moose roast and it was DELICIOUS!! I could never kill one but I do like to eat it. At least moose are hunted in their own environment and not herded to the slaughter house which in my mind is more humane! Maybe that's why I like moose meat better then beef.

Everybody needs a friend...

Gone visiting...

It was a warm Sept. day when I took Squirt with me to visit a friend in South Brook NL. There was a warm wind blowing and I believe my friend's Siberian Husky and Squirt fell in love....lol. They appear to be a mismatch but hey you can't argue with Cupid. Both Leka and Squirt are fixed so there's no worry about the odd couple procreating.
