The last sunrise of August 2015

The sun's not coming up as early this time of the year. It was after 6 am when I had my dog out for his morning pee and I was compelled to go back in the house for my camera. The sunrise was just too gorgeous to ignore.

Bumble bee on slate...

I had painted this piece of slate years ago with me and my x sitting at the kitchen table playing cards (which is something we never did) with Spencer's Dock Rd. wrote on it. The years took their toll on the slate but you could still make out the picture. Now that I'm no longer with him nor living on Spencer's Dock Rd. I decided it was time to change the slate to match the times...lol. It's still a work in progress as I might write 'drive slow' on it as well and then I'm going to drag out the envirotec and give it a glass like finish. Where to lodge it when it's done is still a mystery, it's a rather large chunk of slate...lol. Seeing it in the picture I now notice a couple of touch up spots but all in all I like it. Let me know what you think. :)
